Brown and Black

Is the brown and black combo a good look?
For instance, is it okay to pair an all black outfit with brown boots?

    I think you can totally wear brown with black as long as there is a clear difference between the colors.
    like a black dress with chestnut boots looks great together. but dark brown just doesnt work with black the colors are too close together, but a light brown looks great with black

    no. you can wear black outfits with brown boots, or a brown bag... lets say louis vuitton. however, wearing things like black dresses with brown tights or someonething equally awful is completely unacceptable.
