Plaid

dear fairy god mother,
how do i pull off plaid without looking like a lumberjack?

    pull a color out of the plaid try and accessorize with it.
    or make the rest of the outfit really feminine, wear some tights or some tight jeans and cute shoes.

    if you wear the shirt with just denim and bulky boots you might look lumber jacky. but make it feminine and you should be okay.

    also, try to choose a plaid shirt in a lighter, more cotton-y fabric. if you choose a shirt thats in a heavier fabric like a flannel, i think there is a much greater chance of you looking like you belong in a forest.
