I know it's often been thought of as a fashion don't, but is it ever okay to do things like mix gold and silver jewelry or wear black and blue together? Also, what's your viewpoint on the whole leggings as pants trend? Thanks!

i personally dont always enjoy the silver and gold. but i will on occasion wear gold jewelry with a ring that has a silver piping on the edge.

OH MA GOD. leggings as pants is the worst. leggings are totally fine if there is a long top that covers most of the behind. but if a girl is rocking a tshirt with just leggings and you can see everything up in there is a big no no.

hey, i LOVE gold and silver together. i much prefer the mix when used in jewelry, but i would be lying if i said i didnt enjoy the idea of a silver embroidered or embellished cardigan with a creme tank and gold brocade paperwaist skirt!
ReplyDeleteand black + blue = awesome! but it has to be done purposefully. if it looks like you accidentally put on navy tights instead of black, thats no good.
i totallyyyy agree with the leggings as pants things. i hate seeing someone in leggings and seeing ALL of their junk and whatnot. if the shirt covers most of their behind, then yeah i think thats a-ok.

obviously that is not okay, unless its david yurman jewelry. certain things are acceptable, like gold hardware on a purse when you're wearing silver, but make sure its simple and not an actual gold bag.
